According to Proto-Pac's NPI Supervisor, Sue Warren, Proto-Pac Engineering has processed over one thousand new assemblies through the NPI (New Product Introduction) Team for the twelve months ending September 30, 2007.
"Considering the fact that each assembly is reviewed and the processes documented at every step, this is an unprecedented amount of new assemblies for an electronic contract manufacturer of any size," said Guylaine Harris, Quality Assurance Manager. "One of the great benefits to a customer who uses our NPI services is the fact that a DFM (Design for Manufacturability) report is supplied with the completed assemblies. The DFM report provides direct feedback to the customer so that cost saving changes can be implemented for the first production delivery."
